ABSTRACT
The centre of gravity of the displaced liquid is known as the centre o f buoyancy, and a submerged body orientates itself so that its centre of gravity is located vertically above its centre of buoyancy. If the centre of gravity and centre of buoyancy coincide, the body will remain in any position and is said to be in neutral equilibrium.
