ABSTRACT
Concept Analysis is a very useful application of Galois-connections. It is based on the assumptions that all human knowledge involves conceptual thinking, and that human reasoning involves manipulation of concepts. Formal concept analysis, developed since 1979 by R. Wille and his collaborators (see [120]), goes back to Aristotle's basic view of a concept as a unit of thought constituted by its extension and its intension.
