ABSTRACT
1) In one of Arthur C. Clarke's Rama novels the occupants of a spaceship are subject to a long episode of high acceleration. In order to make this tolerable for the human occupants they are given breathing apparatus and completely immersed in a fluid, in which they have zero buoyancy. How effective do you think this strategy would be?
