ABSTRACT
In the Homestake mine neutrino detector on average 0.5 atoms of 37 Ar are created per day through the capture of neutrinos from the Sun in 37 Cl. At intervals the accumulated radioactive 37 Ar atoms are flushed out of the detector and counted.
