Thischapterdiscussesmethodsavailableforelicitingopinionintheform ofpriordistributions.AprogramisavailableinStatlibforelicitationin thecontextofanormallinearmodelwithaconjugateprior.Anexample ispresentedusingthismethod.Thediscussionofelicitationmethodsalso focusesonsurvivalmodels,asthesetwoclassesrepresentthemodels mostcommonlyusedinthedesignandanalysisofclinicaltrials.
