Experimental Method s In the discussion of the chemistry of the elements which makes up the later part of this book, the structures of a number of compounds are described. It is the aim of this chapter to give a brief indication of the more important experimental methods of determining these structures, and a description of some of the more recently developed methods of separating compounds is also given. Fuller accounts of the individual methods are given in the references.
