ABSTRACT
Environmental planning is becoming more and more important in urban planning. In the previous decades, urban environment was only studied in differed time; but now, thanks to telecommunications and real-time sensors, environmental monitoring can be carried out in real time. The objective of this chapter will be to examine the objectives and the architecture of those new computer systems.
