ABSTRACT
The next step in our confidence building programme is to examine the Lorentz transformation of the energy and momentum of a particle. These transformations do just what might be expected. The momentum of a particle is observed to have a greater c component in Y than z' component in Y' (Figure 6.1). This is the same effect as would be observed in a corresponding Galilean transformation where it is easily understood. The quantitative details are different.
