ABSTRACT
As the title indicates, we are going to discuss some developments involving special relativity. In previous chapters we have attempted to provide an introduction to the foundations of the subject and have illustrated that introduction with applications. And in fact, we used the application of special relativity to particle kinematics at speeds approaching that of light as a simple, first step to confidence building for the whole subject (Chapters 2 and 3).
