ABSTRACT

Researchers have at their disposal various methods to compare means of treatments from experiments. Deciding which treatment means are significantly different is called mean separation. In conducting experiments to determine which treatment mean is significant, it is essential to keep in mind that the best method is one that meets the objectives of the experiment, is simple, and does not require assumptions that are difficult to meet. Given these criteria, researchers can design an appropriate experiment that compares treatment means and provides answers to their queries.
