ABSTRACT

Our discussions so far have centered around those experimental designs that are conducted in one period in time and on a single site. Care must be taken in the generalization of the results of such experiments. No matter how well such experiments are conducted, their results differ from those obtained from the same experiments conducted over a longer period of time (several seasons or several years) or at several sites, or both. In this chapter we will address how such experiments are conducted and the unique conditions associated with these experiments.
