The book analyses the development experience in the north-eastern region in relation to the processes of globalisation and liberalisation of the economy. It provides a detailed analysis of the poverty and nutrition scenario in the region. The book examines the question of economic citizenship in Arunachal Pradesh to argue that economic citizenship is being forged by the same social forces as those developing capitalism.
