ABSTRACT

The Learning Community played a huge role with the author's stay at SUNY Buffalo State College. It gave him great connections with some amazing people. The Learning Community also helped him develop excellent time management skills which he still use to this day and plan on using even after graduation. The author was a part of a student organization for three years, starting in Advertisement and Recruitment, then later becoming the Vice President, then finally becoming the President of a student club that has been on SUNY Buffalo State Campus for about forty-four years called Adelante Estudiantes Latinos. He also holds a Building Manger position in the SUNY Buffalo State Campbell Student Union. He had the same experience as the other freshmen who were not in a Learning Community because they did not stay with the same classmates for all their classes.
