ABSTRACT

Calibrations of the sensors and data are quite important since they determine the image quality and reliability of the derived information. Previously, we studied five basic topics about SARs: imaging, radiometry, polarimetry, antenna pattern, and geometry (and radiometry) associated with the topography. Here, we integrate them as a thematic SAR calibration system, describe the calibration resources, and show the calibration results for the existing SARs: JERS-1, ALOS, ALOS-2, and Pi-SAR-L2.
