ABSTRACT

Early in Dawn’s career she worked for a university testing center in which she helped instructors design quizzes and tests for classroom and online delivery. One school at the university had four large-enrollment courses and their own secure computer-based testing lab in which they would deliver their exams. Since each course had about 1,000 students and the computer lab held about 100 examinees, students could schedule their exam at any time over a two-day period. All four courses consisted of three multiple-choice exams and a cumulative multiple-choice final, each worth 25% of the course grade.
