ABSTRACT
Recommendation: Have students engage in self-assessment as a formative assessment to help them evaluate and revise their work. How much students are involved in setting the criteria and providing feedback as part of the self-assessment process should be guided by the level of the course and ability of the students to evaluate their own learning.
