ABSTRACT

Once there was a woman, old, it's true, but healthy and lively. She gave birth, in her ninetieth year, to a son. Following his birth, his mother and father couldn't marvel enough at their extraordinarily large and strong child. The neighbors and other acquaintances all came for a look, and in the end, when word had got around, people even from other countries came to look the boy over, for no one could recall that any woman anywhere had given birth to such a child.
