ABSTRACT
In a little village there once lived a very poor, but at the same time also very honest and devout man, for though he was already as grey as a dove, still he had never yet sinned, never harmed anyone even with the slightest word, never trespassed against anyone, nor wronged anyone. And this vexed the devil in hell, who scratched behind his ears and said, "Why, one could just explode over that person! Another person, though he be honest, will at least serve me once in his life, but this one will die today or tomorrow and he still hasn't done a thing according to my will. But you just wait, I'll show you yet!"
