ABSTRACT
In the previous chapter we noted that in the course of his woodcarving career, Mr. Guo Y ouxing had helped establish a woodcarving enterprise in the town of Heng Dian, some eleven kilometers to the southwest of Guo Zhai. Guo's daughter, Guo Shifang, began her own woodcarving career in that factory, the Heng Dian Woodcarving Arts and Crafts Factory (Mudiao Gongyimeishu Chang). She met her future husband there, and the couple has since gone on to establish their own woodcarving enterprise in Heng Dian town (more below).
