ABSTRACT
Scattered throughout the play are terms which seen to have been archaic
even in the early seventeenth century. The language, at any rate, is
English schoolboy would have known well. The plot would, on the surface,
hered to, and the basic story would have been widely familiar to any
reliance upon classical myth.
