ABSTRACT
Internal quality control characteristics and definition are presented. The role and the place of IQC in QA/QC system is described. The basic tools used for IQC are characterized with a focus on control charts. The most commonly used control charts are described and ways of preparing and utilizing the data for the Shewhart chart with an examples of calculations are included.
