ABSTRACT
The interlaboratory comparisons play an important role, especially in external quality control of analytical results. The types of interlaboratory comparisons, their characteristics, and classification are presented. Information about the organization of PT test is described, too. The most commonly used statistical tools applied for PT test results treatment, accompanied by several examples, are characterized. An interpretation and the use of PT test results is included in the chapter too.
