It is of interest that an Administrative Officer investigating Birom traditions inclines to the belief that the “ main body ” of that tribe is cognate with Gurrum, deriving from " Turn (near Rumfan Gwamna)," that is, apparently, Jan Tudu, deserted in the recent movement from hill-sites.1
