ABSTRACT
Pretrial preparation sets the stage for managing the many complex factors that arise during clinical trials. Additionally, the process of pretrial preparation offers research sites the opportunity for process consistency, economies of scale, and technology integration across multiple studies. In this chapter and throughout the book, we will be referring to standard operating procedures (SOPs), checklists, forms, and other tools that offer research sites opportunities for efficiency.
