What Is Old Is New: Employment Anyone involved in healthcare in the 1990s may feel like they are living in a time warp. The 1990s brought us hope that integrated networks, anchored by employed physicians (especially primary care providers) would usher in an age of accountability and efficiency. There were numerous warning signs; this was not to be the case.
