ABSTRACT
As with Lean manufacturing (LM) process statistics themselves, it is necessary to analyze and explain the survey result data. And, like process statistical process control (SPC), there are no convenient shortcuts or assumptions in interpreting the results. For those not inclined to wade through the data, Table 5.1 is a brief summary of data results as they relate to the LM effectiveness hypotheses.
