ABSTRACT

The assessment and implementation techniques and tools used in strategic decision forecasting (SDF) are systematic, effective, and practical methods. They can be structures to evaluate a situation and systematic processes to investigate issues. They can also be tools to help visualize the operating environment and company operations, or to provide a structured way to organize ideas and information. In some instances, they are procedures used to enhance the SDF team members’ understanding of the nature and the causes of problems or they can be efficient ways to assess a problem and come up with alternative solutions. Often, these SDF techniques and tools are aids used to make sense of huge volumes of data and information, critical thinking methods, and sound analytical methods to evaluate information and create intelligence, insights, and solutions.
