ABSTRACT
In Chapter 2, we discussed the current state of forecasting for strategic decisions and its failures and touched on the root causes. We made reference to strategic decision forecasting (SDF) solutions because in addition to numerical predictions, the solutions include intelligence and insights created, evaluations, sanity checks, scenario development, simulation assessments, and various analyses performed by SDF teams to help clients make effective decisions.
