ABSTRACT
Both BIM and Lean are endothermic endeavours. You need to keep applying energy to keep the initiatives alive. BIM processes seem to become exothermic after a short time – once you get going, you’ll never go back. Lean Construction, however, seems to take a much longer time to become established in a company. You have to keep people interested and motivated, even after new practices become standard practices.
