ABSTRACT

The interpenetration of language and culture, the coter minous relationship of ‘way of speaking5 to ‘way of life5 has been noticed. It follows that if a ‘consanguineous5 intercon nection pertains between drama and language, then drama and ‘way of life5 must prove inextricably linked. A culture’s drama mirrors that culture. It becomes its members’ ‘second5 nature.
