ABSTRACT
The following images are provided as references for where teeth fit in the maxilla and mandible, directions in each arcade, and directions on generalized anterior and cheek teeth. The first image shows a maxilla and mandible with the full complement of dentition. Each tooth class and number is indicated, as are the primary directions of left and right, and mesial, distal, buccal, labial, and lingual. Unlabeled photographs of a maxilla and a mandible, also with all teeth present and relatively unworn, follow these drawings.
