ABSTRACT
In this chapter, the authors offer Sexual Attitudes Reassessment and Restructuring (SAR) events at other locations. SAR students included a medical doctor from India, who at an early SAR the authors led, began his shift in career focus from this very first training to eventually becoming an American Association for Sexuality Educators, Counselors and Therapists Certified Sex Therapist. A female gynecologist from a large medical care system, also a sex researcher on the terribly disabling condition of fistula, attended not one but two of their SAR programs. A key component of SAR is the small group process. Venue plays a large part in the tone and ambience of a SAR. The composition of the participants varied as much as Dutch culture itself. During the SAR, the main speaker event was held in conjunction with one of the field trips to a local and very popular sex shop.
