ABSTRACT

Machining is currently the most widely used manufacturing process [1]in which machined products find their way in almost all industrial sectors. This includes, but not limited to, the aerospace, nuclear, automotive, and medical sectors. Accordingly, a massive body of literature has been dedicated to examine and understand different aspects of the machining process, with the utmost goal of understanding how different process parameters, as well as workpiece and tool material properties, would affect part performance.
