This chapter guides you through professional working practice in pre-production and when shooting. It details the flow of the shoot from call (arrival) to wrap and how it is and stays organized. The roles of each member of the camera department at each stage of the shoot are detailed along with guidance that enables you to know what tasks you should to prioritize when. It also shows how to behave and how to protect yourself and your equipment, to survive the many and varied filming situations you will find yourself in.
