ABSTRACT

The EU’s involvement in the Middle East confl ict has a long history that predates the inception of the EU’s common foreign policy. This helped the EU and its members to develop a progressively comprehensive vision for settling this confl ict, as well as ways and means for realizing it. It might even be argued that never before has the EU had a clearer vision of how to solve the Middle East confl ict, or of its own role in solving it.
