ABSTRACT
This chapter consists of two sections. In the first I shall discuss some general elements that seem to me to be important in approaching the matter o f the interfaith dialogue with Islam. In the second I shall extend the discussion with special reference to a consideration of Islamic da‘wah, and this will itself lead to a consideration of a number o f critical issues.
