ABSTRACT
Energy saving of buildings has been regarded as an important issue in China, because of a serious challenge from an enormous population and a low per capita energy resource level. Energy saving of building envelopes by adoption of effective thermal insulation materials and structure optimization of the walls are currently technical measures at present in China.
