PARTICULAR WOUND HEALING CHARACTERISTICS It is well known that some persons tend to heal fast and with excellent inconspicuous scars, whereas in others, the wound healing process may always take longer, and the scars remain red for a long time and often become dehiscent. This can unfortunately not be inuenced although optimal suture techniques help to prevent the worst.
