ABSTRACT

INTRODUCTION Cellulite can be dened by a simple clinical criterion: a spontaneous orange-peel appearance when the skin is pinched. The two most common sites in the body where cellulite appear are the outer thighs (femoral fat, saddlebags) and inner knees [1]. This particular fat, “compacted” by brous septa, is much more difcult to remove especially in obese people: it is particularly resistant to a low-calorie diet that reaches femoral reserve fat as a last resort [2].
