ABSTRACT
The process of being well prepared is valid not only during the evaluation phase of employment but also when starting up a new company, working as a freelance consultant, or just continuing student's educational/research activities. The strategic decisions that have to be made when preparing for studies, part-time jobs, or access to important social networks are not optional. The decisions made when young will most likely affect an individual’s remaining active life in either a positive or a negative way. Another issue that may be strategically valuable is student's individual competencies. Investigate the similarities with the required profile and estimate how well students adapt to the profile. The individual career is often a complex process with unique conditions, unexpected obstacles, but also many occasions that students never expected would show up. A situational presentation map is the latest updated version of presentation material that clearly communicates an individual’s advantageous properties.
