ABSTRACT

This chapter explains the research motivation for bio-based tuning issue such as particle swarm optimization, immune algorithm, bacterial foraging, and its hybrid system for tuning. It describes the emotion control approach of proportional-integral-derivative controller with disturbance acceptance function against external emotion in control system is proposed using bacterial foraging-based optimal algorithm. The chapter illustrates disturbance acceptance conditions and integral of time weighted squared error as the performance index. It deals with disturbance positively for emotion control. Emotions have always appeared to be a complex phenomenon and many researchers have been interested in express or recognition. The emotion function of the human mind has an important role in decision-making, memory, action, and good communication or so. Emotions in biological systems have been known to be caused by imbalances in biochemical neurotransmitters and secretions. Emotion intensities are computed by each agent based on these inputs delivered to them by a referee agent and sent back.
