ABSTRACT
The unique properties of the immature skeleton (increased
resiliency to stress, thicker periosteum, presence of a physis,
increased potential to remodel, age, location of fracture, plane of
deformity, and shorter healing times) make femoral neck fractures
in children a very important and interesting phenomenon.
