George Carmichael Low’s presidency and removal to Manson House – 1929–33

Problems with accommodation regarding (i) a suitable room for the running of the Society, and (ii) a venue for Ordinary meetings had begun shortly after foundation of the Society (see Chapter 2). However, they were to reach a crescendo in the early 1920s, ie the decade leading to the acquisition of a permanent home (Manson House).
