ABSTRACT
IN Chapter 5, we introduced the basic concepts involved in periodic signal generation. Although we mentioned the idea, we intentionally deferred the discussion of aperiodic digital communications signals until now. Since digital communications signals can be generated using an unlimited number of different forms and specifications, we will only introduce one of these forms and a few of the techniques that can be used to produce this type of signal.
