1.1 INTRODUCTION

In recent literature there are more information on the use of nanostructured elements to improve the energy and mass characteristics of thin photoelectric converters (PEC). Scientists and engineers of Oregon State University, the US proposed a new technology that allows to cover the thin film surface nanostructures of different materials [1]. The technology can be used to change the optical properties of these materials, in particular,

to reduce the reflectance of the material by applying to the surface of the nanoparticles. The deposition process is carried out in a special chemical microreactor, wherein the material deposited on the surface of the thin film nano-elements in the form of tiny pyramids. A reduction in reflectance of the material is achieved due to this. Such material is capable of absorbing a greater amount of incident light than the non-treated. Such materials can be used in various fields.
