ABSTRACT
306Water is becoming a scarce commodity. Our productivity in almost all crops are far below in the world’s productivity. It is time now to use high technology to save water and increase productivity. Precision farming (PF) now implemented in Dharmapuri and Krishnagiri project is an eye opener for all Indian farmers to following a big way in the coming years to solve the water scarcity and to get more income to the framers. It is a complete farmer’s participatory project. Based on this demonstration, PF can be taken up in all districts and by all farmers.
