ABSTRACT
The problems of environmental pollution caused by polymeric materials are raised. The production of environmentally friendly polymers is considered as a basis for addressing macromolecular pollution. The aging, stabilization, and biodegradation of polymers are described. Several sections are devoted to individual members of polymers and their problems.
