ABSTRACT
The trends of development of science at the present stage are characterized. The role of nonlinear science in the modern scientific picture of the world is emphasized. The concept of universal evolutionism is described. The role and importance of information in nature and society are highlighted. The use of nonlinear dynamics in geosystems is shown. The relation between the dark matter (energy) and the universal evolution is demonstrated.
