ABSTRACT
The Walt Disney Company planned to create one of the most technologically advanced attractions in the world through the development of the Experimental Prototype Community of Tomorrow. The iconic centerpiece of the attraction is the geodesic dome entitled Spaceship Earth, which is based on the designs of the legendary US architect Richard Buckminster Fuller. Spaceship Earth has featured for over thirty years early demonstrations of Skype and Google Hangouts as well as other futuristic communications technologies. Loveday believes that more and more former competitors will work together to achieve a common standard to improve operations and marketing performance for mobile technology. The measurement of this value is often represented as return on marketing investment (ROMI). ROMI systematically measures the percentage of return on business professionals' meeting and event technology investment. The term “user friendliness” was probably coined in the late 1970s and early 1980s as geek speak for “keep it simple, stupid.”
