ABSTRACT
During the 60 years of artificial intelligence (AI) development and growth, people have been seeking research techniques from different perspectives. To express a qualitative concept with a quantitative method, this chapter generates cloud drops according to the digital characteristics of the cloud, which is called a "forward cloud generator". The cloud model leads the research on intelligence at the basic linguistic value and focuses on the approach to represent qualitative concepts with quantitative expressions. There are various approaches to implement the cloud model that will result in different kinds of clouds based on different distributions, for example, uniform cloud based on uniform distribution, Gaussian cloud based on Gaussian distribution, power law cloud based on power law distribution. To understand the forward Gaussian cloud model more deeply, the chapter discusses the different contributions made in different drop communities, based on one-dimensional forward Gaussian cloud model.
